Beacon Test Company Policy Handbook

Paid Time Off Policy
Full-time employees receive 15 days of paid time off per calendar year. PTO can be used for vacation, personal time, or family needs. Employees should submit PTO requests at least 10 business days before the planned absence. Managers must approve or deny PTO requests within 3 business days. PTO requests longer than 5 consecutive business days require department head approval.

Expense Reimbursement Policy
Employees may request reimbursement for approved business expenses. Receipts are required for all expenses over $25. Expense reports must be submitted within 30 days of the purchase date. Travel expenses require manager approval before booking. Airfare, hotels, rideshare, parking, and meals during approved business travel may be reimbursed.

Remote Work Policy
Employees may work remotely up to 3 days per week with manager approval. Remote workers must be available during core collaboration hours from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time. Confidential company documents may not be downloaded to personal devices. Employees must use company-approved tools for file storage and communication.

Security Incident Reporting
Employees must report suspected security incidents immediately. Examples include lost devices, suspicious emails, unauthorized account access, or accidental sharing of confidential information. Security incidents should be reported to security@beacontest.example within 1 hour of discovery.

Onboarding Checklist
New employees must complete account setup, security training, payroll forms, benefits enrollment, and department orientation within their first 5 business days. Managers are responsible for assigning a buddy and scheduling the first-week orientation meetings.
