Beacon Test Sales and Pricing FAQ Effective Date: June 25, 2026 Document Owner: Revenue Operations Standard Plan Positioning The Standard plan is intended for teams that need secure document search, department-based access controls, and monthly usage reporting. It includes up to 1,000 searches per month, 200 document uploads per month, and standard email support. Sales should position Standard for teams with fewer than 150 employees or departments that are starting their first internal knowledge-base rollout. Enterprise Plan Qualification The Enterprise plan is recommended when a customer needs custom data retention, SSO, audit exports, dedicated onboarding, or more than 1,000 searches per month. Enterprise opportunities require a discovery call with Sales Engineering before a quote is issued. Sales Engineering should confirm expected document volume, required integrations, data residency needs, and admin approval workflow. Discount Guidelines Account executives may offer up to a 10% annual prepay discount without additional approval. Discounts greater than 10% require Revenue Operations approval. Nonprofit and education discounts may be considered up to 20%, but they require written approval from the VP of Sales. Trial Extensions Trials are 14 days by default. A one-time 7-day trial extension may be approved by the account executive if the prospect has uploaded at least 5 documents or scheduled a security review. Trial extensions beyond 7 days require Sales Manager approval and must include a close plan. Security Review Questions If a prospect asks about security documentation, send the security overview, subprocessors list, and data retention summary. Security questionnaires should be routed to security-reviews@beacontest.example. Sales should not answer legal, compliance, or data residency commitments without review from Legal or Security.
